Connect ChatGPT or Claude to GradeGang

GradeGang exposes an MCP server so an AI assistant can chat, plan, and look things up in the app on your behalf. Copy the URL below, then follow the steps for your assistant.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there).
  2. In the chat composer's + menu, turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Add sources, then Connect more.
  4. Name the connector "GradeGang" and paste the URL above.
  5. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use GradeGang.

Connect Claude

  1. Open Claude → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name the connector "GradeGang" and paste the URL above.
  3. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use GradeGang.

Refresh after the app changes

Your assistant caches the tool list. When GradeGang ships an update, refresh the connector so it picks up the latest tools.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's app preferences and pick GradeGang under "Enabled apps".
  2. Next to "Information", click Refresh.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use GradeGang.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select GradeGang.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Ask Claude to use GradeGang.

Signing in is handled by your assistant the first time it connects — you'll approve access with your GradeGang account.
